Jesus is dead. That is certainly what the disciples thought. Just look at what Peter does after the crucifixion. He looks at the other disciples and says “I am going fishing” (John 21:3). Game over. Back to the family business.

And because I process things through writing, these posts are my attempts at processing through hard concepts. I invite you to join me by looking at a few posts below.
I can’t promise you that I’ll always get it right or take the orthodox view, but I’ll do my best to stay true to the Word of God.
The good news, though, is that I can stay honest. I don’t have a constituency to please, a creed to hold up, or a (ministerial) job to keep. So I can take an honest look at theology without fear of back lash.
